You just received your new Zamzee (yippee!), and you’re not sure how to set it up. In this blog post we’ll walk you through the registration process step-by-step.
You probably have a card that looks like this:
Step #1: Log into zamzee.com.
Click here to sign up for zamzee.com. You need to enter your first name and create a username and password. We ask for your birthday because, if you are under age 13, we need permission from your parent or guardian before we can allow you to access all the features of Zamzee. If you bought your Zamzee through our website, you do not need to enter a code. (People who need a code usually received Zamzee through their school, community group or healthcare provider. If you do have a code, make sure you enter it at this step!)
You’ll finish setting up your zamzee.com account on Page 2 of the registration process. If you are under age 13, remember to ask your parent or guardian to check their email inbox and authorize your account so you can receive full access to zamzee.com.
Step #2: Download the Zamzee Upload Center
Click here to download the Zamzee Upload Center. The Zamzee Upload Center is a small piece of software you need to install on your computer to transfer Pointz from your Zamzee meter to zamzee.com. The software works on both PC and Macintosh operating systems. After you’ve installed the Zamzee Upload Center, plug your Zamzee into a USB slot. You’ll know your Zamzee is plugged in correctly when you see small green lights on the back of the USB slider. Connect your Zamzee to your zamzee.com account by entering your username and password in the dialog box.
Step #3: Charge your meter
Charge your Zamzee by leaving it plugged into your computer for 3-4 hours. Your Zamzee charges automatically when plugged into your computer. You can monitor the progress of your battery in the Zamzee Upload Center, and you can also check how many battery lights you see on the back of your USB slider (4 green lights = 100% charge). A fully charged battery will last over a week.
That’s it! You’ve created a zamzee.com account, installed the Zamzee Upload Center, connected your Zamzee meter to your zamzee.com account, and charged your battery. Now grab your Zamzee and get moving to start earning mega Pointz.
